Election seasons always bring mixed emotions and trepidation. I hope that groups, like this one, can help find ways to help the citizens with well thought out policies. No one should have to live with being impoverished.
I too have faith in the good people of our state who live freedom and will vote. I believe in the power of the people and we are confident that the people will be heard loud and clear. Everyone must do their part get out the vote!
I'm feeling apprehensive since the stakes are so high. But I have some optimism stemming from Ohio voters' resoundingly protecting our rights not once, not twice, but three times last year, against the will of the legislative and executive supermajority. This election will depend on getting people to understand, feel and KNOW their power. I hope people look at their whole ballots - not just the candidates they've seen TV ads for, but their district and local candidates as well. Ask them how they stand on issues that are important to you, and vote for the ones who will best protect you and your family. Most candidates are very responsive to voters - and the ones who aren't, that tells you something too, about how they'll treat their constituents when they're in office!
Thank you, I have been looking forward to this conversation with the upcoming election fast approaching. How will the outcome effect our community and what can we do to educate and elevate the voices of the marginalized we serve. Bring your truth to the table and let's kick this off! Eric L. NTTP...
